Tragic.

Ms. Quah Chau Im

Our beloved Management lecturer during Foundation at PJ had commited suicide due to post-natal depression by plunging down a 14 storey building. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl actually (apologize for my mistake earlier).

Ms. Quah, we find it utterly hard to accept as you've always seem so cheerful. I remember those time where we personally have consultation for my assignment, you effortlessly guide me the proper way. Thank you for your guidance, you'll be dearly missed. God bless.

The news is in Chinese, and the link is here

This is her Facebook Fan Page.

Rest in peace Ms. Quah.

Gong Hei Fatt Choi !

The gathering, the food, the ang pau, the joy and laughter. I just love Chinese New Year.

I've been strict on my diet and had been training for runs, it's about time to rest and fatten up! Ba Kua pleaseeeeeeee hehe.

Had reunion dinner with the Lums at OUG, and went to Teluk Intan on the first day of Chinese New Year.

The gathering at Teluk Intan's pretty epic, consists of my grandparents, mum have a total of 9 siblings - all married, and all have at average of 3 to 4 kids. You do the math. My Ah Kong and Ah Ma are proud grandparents of 28 grandchildren.

With the cuties, Sze Chin, Rou Xi and Foong . Who demands to get Superman, Spiderman treatment from me without fail :). Except for Foong I can barely carry her already haha. :p

It's been blazing hot lately eh? Ideal to go for a dip in the pool ;).

Mata lalat haha .

The 6 of us, Lums :).

Big, happy family :).

1 missing, so 27 cousins :D! Age ranges from 3 months old to 28 years old :).

Tomorrow bai lin with Ser Siang, Khy Li and Wei Guan ;D!

Putrajaya Night Marathon 2010

I finally, relish my dream of competing a 21km half-marathon. Usually I run for distances like 5km to 11km. The furthest I ever ran was approximately 15km which is from my house, Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya to Jac's place at Happy Garden, off Old Klang Road.

In fact this race was one of the most grueling run ever. Probably my resistance and stamina is not at the top level but it is so taxing to my body that tired is truly an understatement. I timed 2 hours and 14 minutes which was much lousier than my expected time, 2 hours. That leaves room for improvement. But first time, I suppose it's credible.

Although I met Michael, Yeoh and Fabio, who are avid runners, but going for runs/marathons alone sucks.

I'm good in hiding the fact I'm freaking worn out.

I measure myself in kilometres and the medals I accomplished.
I will gear up for full marathon of 42km but not anytime soon.

This should be my last marathon for months to come. Next marathon? Standard Chartered, maybe?

I've to toughen up myself to face all of these alone.
