Ex-BOD Gathering

We, the ex BOD of the Top LEO club in Malaysia for the year 2007 has made an effort to have a pot luck gathering at Grace's place.
Thus, I brought meehoon and fried it all by myself!
Not to mention I've got good feedbacks, not bad for a starter?

Anyway only 8 of us turned up.
Grace insisted we dine outside around the house compound on the mat?
Haha :)

We also played a round of charade later, and it was damn fun!
Too bad we don't have sexual words and all haha.
I think we should play charades more often in the future :).

Gone were the days we hear long-winded stories from Lion Christopher, nagging and complains from Pn. Ng, school regulations that disallow us to do anything close to the word "fun".
Now, everyone's heading their respective pathways.

Leo Forum at Penang

Friday, June 1st. 36 DJians armed with dangerous weapons(luggage, pillow and soft toy) boarded up a bus at 5am and head straight to Penang.

Forum was bad. Minus the fact that we spent time with our friends and receiving awards. Thankfully there's a circle of friends there so it isn't that bad and all.

Hats down for Shwu Meei, the awards are the result of her great reports.

You think we had good food there? Definitely not.
We were fed with awful food catering. The soup was like, plain water and a whole lot of pepper? We didn't even have the time to walk out and try out Penang hawker food=_=.

Most of the time were spent listening to speeches but mostly are gambling, haha.

Speaking of gambling, Roshern is freaking good!
By starting with just RM19, he could earn up to RM70 just like that.
Luck must be pouring on him. The best part is, he wins consistently!

On the first day, we're were suppose to listen to some long speech despite being exhausted from the fact we travelled.

Later on, its Fellowship Night. We were suppose to do a parade from Evergreen Hotel to some place I've no idea where it is, which I thought is a rather waste of time.

Some people were in their formal wear, guys in suits and girls on heels walking a distance?

The next day was the opening ceremony and others, we skipped that and turned up only during lunch time and got screwed for that. Erm, we've got a free badge then, how bad was the screwing, hahaha.

"What 'car' is not a vehicle? The answer is Wai 'Kar' -_-", quoted by Wai Kar herself. Could you see Lion Christopher taking a nap at the back of me?:p

Back to the hall for awards presentation and DJ swiped a handful of awards. There are

On the final day, its kinda sad everything passed so fast and we've got to say goodbye.
We listened to a talk named "Dare To Fail".

Although most people were too exhausted due to short hours spent sleeping, I've got to say the talk was rather interesting!:D

But some couldn't stand it and took a nap instead


and Jesse is very handy when it comes to handling girls' belongings.

Candice, Joanne, HweeChing, Lee Keng didn't follow the bus trip home because they're going back on their own.

So, we left Penang Island at around 3.30pm.

Who knows we will reach back school at 1am?!
9 hours + ride!

Thanks to the heavy traffic and to make things worst, the bus over-heated so Mr. Bus Driver off the air-con.

ps: Sarah, my leg didn't hurt at all, no worries;)

Quite tired as we reached home. *yawns.

Triumph of Team Jane.

We've got this very late futsal competition invitation which takes place at Sultan Abdul Samad School.

The competition required a minimum amount of 2 girls in the futsal team.
So we've come out with the team name, Team Jane.
Which consist of,

Lee Jane,
Daniel,
Basil,
CheeYen,
Jesse,
& myself.

Basil's dad ferry 6 of us there excluding Jane herself because she lives near there. As we reached there we were informed futsal starts an hour later, because there will be Human Foosball.

So we all decided to participate in it.
The Human Foosball game was rather fun, isn't it :D?

Very enjoyable indeed, and our team emerged as the Champion of Human Foosball :D.

Later on was the futsal matches.

So as Jane was practicing shots on goal, Jane suddenly has the enormous burst of energy and kicked the ball so high up and it got stuck at the top of a bamboo tree. Look at what shopping has done to the strength of these girls' leg. Haha.

Thankfully, we've got Ninja Goalie aka Jesse Liew Wern Cai. He got hold of a Ninja Staff and performed The Ancient Art of Poking and he rescued the ball :D.

Jane played every game as it was a condition that at least 2 girls per team got to be on the court.

The competition wasn't all serious, but we did perform well and won every matches.

Oh oh and Jane got a very good shot on target which forced and instantaneous save by the keeper. Great effort!

All goes well except the part Basil hurt his ankle, and we emerged as Champion of Futsal :D!

and right before we go home, CheeYen randomly kicked a ball up and ball landed in a monsoon drain.

Thankfully, we have this dude to lend a hand.

Guided by Jane and accompanied with super lame jokes and lame remarks by Daniel & Jesse, we walked to a coffee shop and did our little "celebration", haha.
